Yelkouan Shearwater (Puffinus yelkouan): 1 off Eilat's north beach, 28-29/Mar. The second record for Eilat.

White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons): 1 at Km 20 saltpans, 09/Mar (A. Ben David).

Bateleur (Terathopius ecaudatus): 1 over Eilat, 28/Mar (R. Mizrachi, N. Weiss, A. Cohen). The 7th record for Israel.

Crested Honey Buzzard (Pernis ptilorynchus): 1 still present at Eilot'a date plantation, 29/Mar (O. Horine et al.).

Demoiselle Crane (Anthropoides virgo): 1 found in the Hula on 12/Mar, Joined by another on 15/Mar (Y. Arad, E. Galili et al.); 1 in a flock of Common Crane over Bet Shemesh, 15/Mar (A. Ben Dov).

White-tailed Lapwing (Vanellus leucurus): 2 at Yotvata's sewage ponds, 11/Mar (L. Kislev); 1 at Eilat's ringing park, 19/Mar (N. Weiss et al.); 1 at K20 saltpans, 23/Mar (T. Simantov, I. Magen); 1 at Eliphaz sewage pools, 29-31/Mar (T. Kahn et al.)

Caspian Plover (Charadrius asiaticus): 2 males and 3 females at Yotvata's fields, 23-28/Mar (T. Simantov, I. Magen et al.).

Bar-tailed Godwit (Limoza lapponica): 2 at Nahsholim fishponds, 20/Mar (S. Agmon).

Mediterranean Gull (Larus melanocephalus): an adult in summer plumage, Ma'agan Michael, 23/Mar (R. Javesta).

Black-legged Kittiwake (Rissa tridactyla): 1 off Eilat's north beach, 06/Mar (R. Mizrachi); 1 off Eilat's north beach, 27-28/Mar.

Crested Tern (Sterna bergii): 1 off Eilat's north beach, 29/Mar (D. L. Velasco et al.).

Lesser Crested Tern (Sterna benegalensis): 1 off Eilat's north beach, 28-29/Mar (D. L. Velasco et al.).

Black-winged Pratincole (Glareola nordmanii): 1 at Eilat's southern saltpans, 28/Mar (T. Kahn et al.).

Egyptian Nightjar (Caprimulgus aegyptius): 2 at Lotan, 07/Mar (J. Meyrav); several seen at Yotvata fields throughout the month.

Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus): 2 or more at Yotvata fields, seen on several occasions (R. Livne, A. Ben Dov et al.); 1 at the Hula, 19/Mar (I. Shanni).

feeding on Persian Ground-Gecko (Stenodactylus doriae).

Thick-billed Lark (Rhamphocorhis clotbey): 13 in flight above Neot Smadar's sewage, 18/Mar (A. Ben Dov, T. Krumenacker); 7 at the north beach, 25/Mar (T. Krumenacker et al.); 3 at Mt. Yoash, 29/Mar (Y. Wasserlauf); 4 at Neot Smadar, 31/Mar (J. Meyrav); 1-2 at HaMeyshar, 11-31/Mar (Y. Charka et al.) and 12 there on the 30th (A. Ben-dov).

Temminck's Lark (Eremophila bilopha): 1 at Ashdod sewage ponds, 29/Mar (E. Dovrat). The second record for Dan region.

Hoopoe Lark (Alaemon alaudipes): 1 at HaMeyshar, 31/Mar (A. Balaban et al.).

Olive-backed Pipit (Anthus hodgsoni): up to 5 at Eilot's date plantation, 07/Mar (R. Mizrachi, N. Weiss et al.). At least 3 still present on 30/Mar (R. Mizrachi).

Blyth's Pipit (Anthus godlewskii): 1 at Rishpon shore, 13/Mar (B. Granit, T. Kahn). The 4th record for Israel.

Black Bush Robin (Cercotrichas podobe): 1 at Eilat, 28-31/Mar (D. L. Velasco et al.).

Kurdish Wheatear (Oenanthe xanthoprymna): a male at Neot Smadar's Sewage, 06-10/Mar (T. Krumenacker et al.); 1 male at Rishpon shore, 13/Mar (T. Kahn et al.); 1 at Lotan, 26/Mar (E. Groth-Andersen).

Cyprus Wheatear (Oenanthe cypriaca): 1 at Eilat's ringing station, 10/Mar (N. Weiss); 1 at Eilat cemetary 19/Mar (J. Meyrav et al.); 1 at Yahel, 20/Mar (J. Meyrav et al.); 1 at Mt. Yoash, 21/Mar (B. Granit); 1 at Km 20, 22/Mar (B. Granit); 1 at Borot Lotz, 25/Mar (E. Groth-Andersen).

Subalpine Warbler (Sylvia cantillans): 1 at Lotan, 20/Mar (J. Meyrav); 1 ringed at the Jerusalem Bird Observatory, 12/Mar (S. Darawshe et al.); 1 at Bahad 1, 30/Mar (M. Craig); several at the Arava during March.

Booted Warbler (Hippolais caligata): 1 at Ma'ale Eilat, 12/Mar (N. Weiss).

Menetries's Warbler (Sylvia mystacea): 3 ringed at Eilat during march (N. Weiss et al.); 1 at Km 2, Arava, 15/Mar (N. Weiss, M. Koss, R. Shaish); 1 ringed at Sde Boqer, 20-22/Mar (E. Makover, D. Burnes); 1 at Km 76, 25-26/Mar (F.X. Moffatt, B. Beilby).

Isabelline Shrike (Lanius isabellinus): 1 at Neot Smadar, 21/Mar (B. Granit), joined by another on 22/Mar (A. Ben Dov).

Pale Rock Sparrow (Carpospiza brachydactyla): 5 at Ketura's barn, 07/Mar (J. Meyrav et al.).

Cinereous Bunting (Emberiza cineracea): 1 at Wadi Samek, Golan, 18/Mar (L. Kislev); 2 at Lotan, 20/Mar (Foreign birders); 1 at Om Zuka reserve, Jorden valley, 17/Mar (Y. Charka); 1 at Yotvata fields, 30/Mar (T. Kahn).
