Greater Flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus): in Km 20 saltpans, north of Eilat, 254 birds were noted on 18/Jul (R. Mizrachi) and breeding attempts were made on 31/Jul (N. Weiss, R. Yossef).

Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus): 5 off Ashkelon, 04/Jul (R. Shaish); 5 off Nachsholim shore, 12/Jul (T. Kahn); 1 off Ma'ayan Tzvi shore, 29-30/Jul (B. Granit, S. Alterman, S. Agmon); 1 at the Kenneret, 30/Jul (D. Porat).

Oystercatcher Haematopus ostralegus

Terek Sandpiper (Xenus cinereous): 1 at Ma'ayan Tzvi fishponds on 24/Jul and 2 on 29-31/Jul (T. Kahn, Y. Charka, B. Granit et al.).

Bar-tailed Godwit (Limoza lapponica): 1 at Ma'ayan Tzvi fishponds, 31/Jul (B. Granit et al.).

Black Tern (Chlydonias niger): 1 off Ma'ayan Tzvi shore, 29/Jul (B. Granit).

Caspian Tern (Sterna caspia): 1 at Ma'agan Michael, 27/Jul (E. Miller, T. Kahn).

Lesser Crested Tern (Sterna benegalensis): 1 on 18/Jul off Eilat's north beach (R. Mizrachi, R. Livne).

White-cheeked Tern (Sterna repressa): 2 off Eilat, 26/Jul (Y. Perlman, R. Shaish).

Bridled Tern (Sterna anaethetus): a pair displaying courtship behavior on an Islet off the western Galilee coast, 07/Jul onwards (T. Oron, E. Mille, D. Rotem); 3 on 18/Jul and 5 on 19/Jul off Eilat's north beach (R. Mizrachi, R. Livne); 4 off Eilat, 26/Jul (Y. Perlman, R. Shaish).
