Red-headed Bunting (Emberiza bruniceps), Eilat, 1979

The first and only record of Red-headed Bunting in Israel was of an Adult male photographed in Eilat on May 22nd 1979 (Nick van der Ham et al.). Other records in the western palearctic are from Turkey.


The image was taken by Nick van der Ham, and was scanned to digital format (hence, the quality):
